Located in Boulder, Colorado just off of Highway 93 on the south
side of the city. The National Center for Atmospheric Research
complex, or NCAR, is a national laboratory responsible for
things such as global weather patterns, hurricane forecasting,
and global temperature analysis.
The center is also home to an educational resource center,
outdoor weather trail, supercomputing center, interactive science
exhibits, and self-guided or guided tours. This is your chance
to visit a national laboratory where scientists study weather
and climate issues affecting the earth.
