Colorado Arts and Theater
Colorado
is rich with the arts. Both of the major metropolitan areas,
Denver and Colorado Springs, have convention centers and
active theater communities. Many of the smaller cities also have
their own art centers. Denver is active in the movie production
business as well, offering opportunites for actors and related
careers.
There are a broad range of performaces offered at these venues.
Opera, Broadway productions, classic musicals, satire, comedy,
and symphonic orchesta can be viewed in world class facilites.
Not mentioned, but worth recognition, is the Colorado Shakespeare
Festival held in Boulder every summer on the University of Colorado
campus.
